Family Photo Time!!!
It's always a challenge to take family photos of yourself, especially when you have a little one that has other plans. So we did a little staking out for some great photo ops here in Tonopah. We managed to find some good spots and planned on Saturday for a photo shoot. We managed to get lucky and have a nice overcast day. Makes it easier to deal with light. One less thing to worry about since Laynie was, by far, more hassle than we needed. Surprisingly, Laynie was pretty decent except for not smiling. Even with her being good, we took about 50 three round burst shots to get what we did. Smiling on cue with a tripod and a timer is a little hard for a 17 1/2 month old. Anyway, we got some good ones so here ya go. Enjoy!

Getting Scary Out There
We managed to find a nice rock wall to take some Halloween pictures of Laynie. She was quite thrilled with her new outfit and we were thrilled to take some pictures of her in it. For the scary part, the nice rock wall was at the bar parking lot and it was filling up fast so we made it quick There were also some people having a little bit of an argument. We still managed to get some good pictures though. Enjoy!

New Places (or place)
One of the first real exciting places I got to go for work when we moved out to Nevada was a place called Bellehelen. It is a really cool place that is about 50 miles away. It is a really neat area so I thought it would make for a fun little trip with the family. We took a trip up there one evening. It just so happened to be quite stormy so it made for some cool pictures. Here are a few of them that I have had the time to process. Enjoy!

Something New
The other day on my way home from work, I decided to stop at a little spring off the side of the road. My hopes were that I could run into some horses. I managed to get within about 20 yards from some getting a drink but the little point and shoot camera I have as a work camera really sucks to say the least. In an attempt to get a good picture, I called Brit and told her to meet me at the office with the camera and we would go for a little ride. So about 20 minutes later we arrived back at the spring all ready and the horses were gone. They were right on the road, but it didn't make for a good picture so we decided to play on the red rocks by the spring. It was a blast especially for Laynie. Nice little place that kinda reminds me of the red rocks back in Utah. Well here are a few of the pics I took. Enjoy!
